Break out the red solo cups
Sweet mother of jebus, it is possible to get Virgil's Root Beer Kegs and Virgil's Cream Soda Kegs! Not only that, but they are delivered right to your house.

I want to throw a Root Beer & Cream Soda kegger now.

Yeah, they have had those and cops have broken them up cause they think its a beer keg. I am amused that they deliver to you.

Yeah but you'll notice the first two flavorants in Virgil's Root Beer are anise and licorice. That, my friend, is not root beet. It's licorice beer.

Yeah, I was so glad to find kegs I didn't care all that much which soda it was. Now that I found the Foxon & Avery's sites I'd probably get root beer through them. they both got 4-5 stars on a soda gourmet site.
