STD test results
So I'll be able to find it and testing date later, feel free to ignore.

Syphilis - Neg
Gonorrhea - Neg
Chlamydia - Neg
HIV - Neg
Herpes 1 - Neg
Herpes 2 - Neg

Clinic refused to test for Hep B w/o symptoms. had to convince them to test for Herpes 1&2. No effective male test for HPV.

Yeah, because what I think I have to offer is "hey you won't get a disease if you fuck me".

And I'm totally looking for a partner who gets interested in me solely for my lack of infection.

Awwww honey. :( I was teasing you, hence the stickey out tongue face.

You certainly have more to offer a partner than a lack of infection. You are funny and sweet and handy (not like that get your mind out of the gutter) and cuddlesome ( i hear) and the like.

I didn't mean to upset you. My apologies.

Once when I gave blood I got a false positive for... well, crap, I forget what now. But it was some deal where the test can show false-positive if you've got some other kind of virus and I had donated when I was just getting over a cold. But the recommendation was to get a more accurate test done and I went to my doctor and he said the same thing about how they won't do the test without symptoms but when I showed him the letter from the red cross he wrote down on the chart that I had symptoms and I got the test done and lo it came back negative. Is a stupid system really.

Incidentally, giving blood is one way to get tested for Hep B :)

They didn't want to give me the Herpes 1&2 and Hep tests because of high false positives. Their reasoning was "You could think you had it when you don't". To which I replied "Well if I get a negative I know I'm clean, and if I get a positive I be extra careful until I have the more accurate retest, either way it is still more useful then no knowledge."

My big issue with both (and how I got them to give me the Herp tests) is this attitude of "You have to have symptoms before we test", which requires me to present symptoms and potentially have already *infected* other partners before they'll give me the test to see if I have to be careful about not infecting other partners. Bizarre system, especially when I'm paying for the tests.

There are Hep A and Hep B vaccines btw. I believe that the HepB vaccine series is in most childhood immunization programs now, but it was introduced too late for me and dje, so we had it done privately while in your neck of the woods, and now when we test the hep B result is consistently "shows immune response" or something similar.
